How it started

Kenny Williams is a Producer, Writer, and Director from Chesapeake, VA, and a two-time winner of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter) for Producing.

His filmmaking journey began with a simple question from a friend: “Would you like to make a movie?” That question sparked a passion that quickly grew into a lifelong pursuit. His first project—a horror film shot on an old iPhone—was made with no crew, no formal training, and no knowledge of lighting or directing. Yet, the moment he called “action,” he was hooked. Even his wife, pregnant at the time, appeared in the film—a memory that still fuels his creative drive today.

Balancing life as a husband and father, Kenny took the next step in his journey by attending Regent University, where he refined his craft and collaborated with a community of talented filmmakers who expanded his understanding of storytelling and technique.

Today, Kenny begins a new chapter with Stone and Steel Production, a company built to empower other filmmakers to find their voice and bring their visions to life through bold, visually stunning storytelling.
